| Mode Of Action | Danazol is a gonadotropin inhibitor that suppresses the pituitary-ovarian axis possibly by inhibiting the output of pituitary gonadotrophins. It also depresses the preovulatory surge in output of FSH and LH and therefore reduces ovarian estrogen production. |
